Founded in 1986, SPEP designs, manufactures, and distributes a wide range of industrial access hardware components, including latches, hinges, handles, and tie-downs. The company operates distribution centers in Lancaster, Texas, and Bolingbrook, Illinois, and serves a diverse clientele across industries such as enclosures, transportation, HVAC, and more. With over 80 patents and ISO 9001-2015 certification, SPEP prides itself on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
In 2006, SPEP transitioned to full employee ownership by implementing an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The ESOP promotes a feeling of unity throughout the organization.
