Red Dot Corporation (Red Dot) is a 100% employee-owned HVAC manufacturing company headquartered in Puyallup, Washington. Red Dot designs and produces mobile heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems for heavy-duty and specialty vehicles, including construction equipment, agricultural machinery, military vehicles, and commercial trucks. The company was founded in 1965 by Harcourt G. “Harky” Runnings in Seattle, Washington and has grown to a global supplier of integrated systems, modules, unit kits and components with over 300 employees.    Red Dot became employee-owned in 2000 when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). As owners, employees benefit directly from the company's success through the growth of their ESOP accounts, which serve as an additional retirement benefit.
