Pioneer Cladding & Glazing (Pioneer) is a 100% employee-owned exterior façade contractor headquartered in Mason, Ohio. Pioneer was founded in 1999 in Cincinnati, Ohio by two curtain wall veterans – Tom Heinold and Tim Hoh. Since then, the company has grown to five separate locations and built a diverse portfolio of projects including convention centers, corporate headquarters, museums, hospitality, higher education, government, health care, and office buildings.    Pioneer became employee-owned in 2018 when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The founders desired to establish a succession plan that maintains the culture of Pioneer, while rewarding employees for their dedication. Pioneer’s employee ownership structure adds financial motivation and ownership responsibility to employees and enables employees to share in the company’s financial success and growth.
