HFA is a 100% employee-owned architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas. Founded in 1990 by architect Harrison French, the firm has grown from a one-person operation into a multidisciplinary studio with over 400 employee-owners. HFA operates physical offices in Bentonville, Arkansas; Fort Worth, Texas; Franklin, Massachusetts; and Mexico City, Mexico, and holds licensure in all 50 U.S. states, enabling them to serve clients nationwide and internationally.  HFA became employee-owned through the implementation of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in 2022.
