Hartman Yacht Maintenance, Inc. (HYM) is an employee-owned marine repair and maintenance company headquartered in Miami, Florida. Founded in 1990 by Bob Hartman, HYM began with a single mobile marine repair unit in Miami, Florida. Over the years, the company expanded its operations, opening additional locations in Fort Lauderdale, Harbour Towne Marina, and Soverel Harbour Marina in Palm Beach Gardens. Today, HYM operates three primary service centers across South Florida, offering a comprehensive range of services including mechanical repairs, marine plumbing, electrical installations, and scheduled vessel maintenance. HYM has serviced over 11,000 boats, emphasizing quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.  HYM became employee-owned in 2020 when it implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This ownership structure has cultivated a culture of accountability and pride, where each employee is invested in the company's success.
