Foundation Constructors is an employee-owned company in the construction industry headquartered in Oakley, California. Established in 1971 by Fred Cavin and his partners, Ray Rose, Joe Hilton, and Barney Murdock, started Foundation Constructors with a mission to provide safe, cost effective, and innovative deep foundation solutions for the construction industry. Their dedication and vision laid the groundwork for the company's growth. Today, the company operates three locations in California. 

In 1975, Foundation Constructors became employee-owned when it established its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Being an employee-owned company, Foundation recognizes that its people are the cornerstone of both its enduring history and its bright future.
