The company was founded in 1989 by Sid Baron and Kevin DeVries, who today serve as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, respectively. Over their 30 year history, Exxel Pacific has been a prominent player in the  multi-family and commercial real estate development in northwest Washington. In 2017, Exxel Pacific became employee-owned when it established its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
