ELM Electrical is a 100% employee-owned electrical services and automation contractor headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts. Founded in 1972 by Bob Schmidt, the company has grown from a regional electrical contractor into a diversified provider of automation, electrical construction, and facilities services. Today, ELM operates across several states in the Northeast and serves a wide range of industries including manufacturing, energy, and utilities. ELM became employee-owned in 2023 when it implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
