Benchmark Group is a 100% employee-owned, full-service architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas. Founded in 1978 by Paul C. Parks, P.E., as an electrical engineering sole proprietorship, the company has grown far beyond its modest beginnings — Parks started the firm in his house when Rogers still had dirt streets. Over the decades, Parks expanded the firm's services to encompass architecture, interior design, fire protection, energy services, and construction compliance. Today, Benchmark Group is an employee-owned company with over 260 staff members, headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas. Benchmark Group became employee-owned in 2021 when, following Parks' death in 2020, David Kimball (president), Jason Adams (executive vice president), and Matthew Nichols (engineering program director) became the company's new owners. President David Kimball announced the company's transition to a 100% employee-owned structure through an ESOP, ensuring future growth and retirement benefits for employees.
